WTGL launches November 8th from SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, and LAGC has a team in the mix.
Created by TMRW Sports in partnership with the LPGA Tour, WTGL is following the same blueprint as the men’s league - fast-paced team match play, mic'd-up athletes, and a tech-infused arena that feels like the future of golf.
The state of women's golf has never been healthier - deeper in talent, and more visible than at any point in the game’s history. WTGL gives that momentum a place to live during the offseason. LAGC has assembled five players who reflect everything the women's game has become.

Meet the Team
Michelle Wie West
Leading from the front

Even before she won the 2014 U.S. Women's Open at Pinehurst, Wie West was a force in the sport. She turned pro at 15 and became a global figure before most of her current teammates had finished high school. She had power, athleticism, and the media presence golfers want to replicate — she showed the world what women's golf could look like at its peak, both on and off the course. A Stanford grad, she has since built a career in business and leadership that rivals what she accomplished on course.
Wie West has remained instrumental in growing the game behind the scenes, and this only adds another level to it.
Gaby López

The Mexico City native won the 2018 Blue Bay LPGA, becoming only the second Mexican woman to win on the LPGA Tour after Lorena Ochoa. She then added victories at the 2020 Tournament of Champions and 2022 Dana Open. She carried Mexico's flag at the Tokyo Olympics, one of three consecutive Games she has represented her country.
Off the course, she has worked alongside Lorena Ochoa's Xuntas organization to expand opportunities for young girls in Mexico and helped bring an LPGA event back to her home country in 2025. For López, WTGL is another platform to compete — and another stage to show a generation of Mexican golfers what's possible.
Aki Iwai
Making history early on

She and her identical twin sister Chizzy (playing for Boston Common Golf WTGL) became the first twins to compete on the LPGA Tour in 2025, and Aki wasted no time. In just the second event of the season, she fired a Sunday 61 at the Honda LPGA Thailand to finish runner-up. Months later she closed with a bogey-free 66 to win the Standard Portland Classic by four shots. She and Chizzy became the first twins to win on the LPGA Tour. At 24, she’s already racked up 10 Top-10 finishes in just two seasons.
She’s already a star, but there’s no limit to how far she can go.
Alison Lee
A role model beyond the game

The California native won the ANNIKA Award as the nation's top college player in 2014 and made the Solheim Cup team as a rookie in 2015. Alison’s journey is one that anyone can learn from - early success followed by years of disappointment, followed by a resurgence and a rise to success again.
In 2025, she stepped away to welcome her son Levi, returning to competition in 2026. Lee has found out year after year that there’s more to life than golf. That perspective can go a long way on a team.
Kiara Romero
Recently turned pro, already an established force in the game

She was the No. 1-ranked amateur in the world and 2025 Mark H. McCormack Medal winner. She rewrote the record books at the University of Oregon - three-time first-team All-American, six individual wins, school scoring records in each of her first three seasons. At the 2026 Augusta National Women's Amateur she finished fourth. Weeks later, she tied for sixth at the U.S. Women's Open as low amateur.
At just 20 years old, Romero is the future of golf.
