LAGC came out to the US Open of Surfing in Huntington Beach, right in our backyard.
Surfing has a meaningful place in LA and SoCal culture, and golf is having its moment too. We had the DryveBox out all week, as surf and golf fans alike tried their luck at challenges and giveaways from the LAGC team.

Streets to the Greens is a series where we highlight those in the LA community making the most out of what golf has given them.
This week, we shout out Mike Isberto. In the past, both golf culture and wine culture were reserved for the elite. Mike has brought them both down to earth, accessible to the everyday Angelenos.
Mike is the founder of Roosevelt Wine Club — a social club that gathers at Roosevelt Golf Course in LA, with the occasional pivot to another local track. Just a short trek from the Griffith Observatory, and blocks from Hollywood, Mike is bringing people together in the heart of LA.
It’s not just about golf, and it’s not just about wine. But rather, about connection through the blending of both cultures. These two worlds rarely find a place to mix, so the RWC is scratching an itch most didn’t even know they had.
Mike is a prime example of how LA is leading the charge in bringing creativity to the game of golf in ways we’ve never seen.

LAGC Events Schedule
Last August, we saw Justin Rose get a post-season playoff victory at the FedEx St. Jude Championship.
Then we all watched as Tommy Fleetwood’s patience finally paid off. His first TOUR victory came at the TOUR Championship at East Lake, netting him the $10,000,000 winner’s prize.
This year, each LAGC member will be poised to make playoff runs if they can finish the season strong.
